Almond Flour Biscuits
My friend from work sent me this recipe on Pinterest. These are a welcome addition to my breakfast morning! Paired with the low carb gravy recipe she sent me, there’s NO reason you can’t maintain a low carb lifestyle with awesome alternatives like these! I hope you dig them too. INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups Almond Flour
- 1 tbsp Baking powder
- 1/4 salt
- 2 Eggs
- 4 tbsp melted Butter
- 1/3 cup Sour Cream
- 1/3 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°
- Add all the dry ingredients in a bowl and stir with fork, set aside.
- In separate bowl, add all the wet ingredients and blend well fork.
- Combine your wet and dry mixes with a spatula.
- Stir in Cheese. (Optional)
- Spray cupcake pan with baking spray.
- Spoon in the dough and try to add even amount to each. Remembering that this dough will rise.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
Yields 9 biscuits
NOTES:
- If you want Red Lobster style biscuits.. add 1/2 tsp of Garlic.
